Stacy Townsend

Stacy Townsend’s hands are usually a little bit grubby. She’s probably been polishing brass, soldering things, hammering rings, bending cuffs, busting geodes, shaping silver, or tumbling earrings. Handmaking is the most fundamental part of Stacy’s design process—she is a tactile designer who wants to feel and see her creations in order to assess their character. In addition to torches, pliers, and hammers the trackpad, stylus, and camera also get plenty of use—Stacy’s other two jobs are graphic design and photography. Check out Townsend Collective for more info.
